123 HP Printer Fax Setup

This article deals with the 123 HP Printer Fax Setup using an ADSL connection. There are four ways in which this setup can be done,

  1. With PC
  2. With PC and telephone
  3. With PC and telephone with a combined answering machine
  4. With PC and telephone and a separate answering machine

123 HP Printer Fax Setup with PC

  • The ADSL should be connected to the wall socket using a microfilter
  • One end of the FAX cable that came along with the device should be connected to the back side of the printer device (123.hp.com/dj3630)
  • The other end should be connected to the analog port of the ADSL
  • The PC should now be connected to the ADSL to complete the setup

  • The ADSL should be connected to the wall socket using a microfilter

  • The other end of the telephone cable should be connected to the phone splitter that is connected to the HP Fax Cable
  • The answering machine should be connected to the phone splitter attached to the HP Fax Cable using another telephone cable
  • The PC should now be connected to the ADSL to complete the setup
